Ornithogalum ponticum ‘Sochi’

(45 cm) Found by plant finder, breeder and writer Janis Ruksans near Sochi in the former Soviet Union around 1980. O. ponticum has more flowers on the stem than the similar O. pyramidale found in central Europe. Long flowering in the garden and a very good cut flower in early summer.
