Ornithogalum oligophyllum (balansae)

(10 cm) From an attractive green leaf rosette rises a short stem on which several dozen true white flowers are placed pyramid-like. Blooms for weeks from March onwards, contrasting beautifully with the dark winter soil. Suitable for all soil types in sun and semi-shade. Ornithogalum olipophyllum was previously called O. balansae and flowers earlier and is lower than the well-known native bird’s-foot, Ornithogalum umbellatum.
