(40 cm) The poeticus daffodil, is found in the wild all over Europe. In Switzerland, there is a flower parade in June for which only these Alpine daffodils are used. This fragrant daffodil blooms late in May with a small white flower. The bright green heart has a narrow red edge that explains the name ‘pheasant’s eye’. The petals flipped backwards are also said to indicate pheasants.
