Narcissus ‘Ornatus’

8,5044,50

(30 cm)

Selected by James Walker in 1870 from N. radiiflorus var exertus growing in France. The petals are pure white, the saucer-shaped and ribbed cup is greenish yellow with a red edge. THE flowering time is April-May, earlier than Narcis poeticus var recurvus. Years ago, a colleague found some bulbs of this lot in the woods near Keukenhof castle and grew it up until it was big enough for me to buy and continue growing.
