Heliotrope-coloured tubular flowers in round clusters on thin stems, though sturdy. When they flower in June-July, they are reminiscent of Verbena bonariensis. Excellent and long-lasting cut flower for on summer-dry soil.  Beautiful among grasses and in the prairie garden.
