This plant was known in Turkey before 1597 and is native in Europe and the UK. The height varies from 15 to 30cm. Very rich flowering, the flowers are violet purple. The dry bulb will flower indoor or on the garden table. You can plant the bulbs 8-10 cm deep in the garden afterwards or before flowering after receipt of the bulbs. The shiny leaves appear in spring.
