(40 cm) Already flowering in April, white ornamental onion native to rubble slopes and rocks in Lebanon. For a not too dry, nutrient- and lime-rich spot in the garden in semi-shade. It has been in cultivation in the Netherlands since 1900 and is found as a bedding plant on estates in the inner dune edge, in the Vecht region and in a few locations in the northern Netherlands.
