Arum italicum ‘Marmoratum’


(25 cm) Stem plant. Arrow-shaped green leaves – sometimes white-veined or dark spotted – in autumn, winter and spring. In May a greenish-white flower, from July orange berries, in moist soil more than in dry soil. Arum italicum wants light shade and lime and is used as an evergreen groundcover. Its foliage acts as a backdrop for early spring bloomers such as snowdrops, Anemone blanda and also Anemone nemorosa and Anemone ranunculoides.
